Our close protection course was developed after a stark realisation of the poor quality of training courses on offer. Our aim was for students to graduate ready to hit the ground running, confident in their ability and able to integrate into an active close protection team. Our close protection course is run by highly experienced instructors that routinely deploy into the field on current operations.
Below is a brief overview. For further information, please download our information pack.
About our Close Protection Course
Established in 2004, we have been running our Close Protection training course since accreditation in 2006; the year the SIA began regulating the Close Protection industry.
We offer the FPOS/I qualification as part of our Close Protection Course. A legal requirement for obtaining the Close Protection licence, applicants must have successfully completed either the First Aid at Work ("FAW") or the First Person on Scene Intermediate ("FPOS/I") qualification before applying for their licence. (As of October 2016).
